Time to do some spring decluttering!

 

Saturday, April 4, 2021 from 8 am - 2 pm at the Recreation Activities Center

Let’s reduce our community’s waste, shop local and repurpose items by shopping at WB Parks Community Garage Sale! We ask all attending the sale to wear a mask.

Information for sellers:


The cost for a booth is $5 for residents or $10 for nonresidents. It includes three 8x12' parking spots (one of which is for your car). Set up begins at 7 am.

Trees by Buds and Bark

 

Wednesday, March 10 from 5:30-7:00 pm at Marshbank Park, ages 50+

Hike the trail in Marshbank Park and learn how you can appreciate trees without their leaves with our Naturalist. You'll enjoy identifying trees in the winter months, by looking at their bark and buds. Come learn how to use these features so you can identify trees in all seasons. Distance: .9 miles, Hike Rating: Medium Terrain: Unpaved & elevation changes. Hiking Poles provided, while supplies last.

Virtual Family Cooking Class

 

Friday, March 12 from 7-8 pm, all ages welcome! Registration deadline 3/5.

Join The Kids’ Table for a hands-on and interactive family cooking experience! Kids of all ages (along with their parent assistants) will get to roll, chop and mix their way to mac n' trees (aka broccoli), with an experienced instructor virtually guiding your crew step-by-step. Cooking is fun, but cooking together is even better!

Fee is per family, only one parent needs to register.

Leprechaun Garden DIY Craft

Tuesday, March 16 from 2-3 pm, outside of the Recreation Activities Center, ages 6+

Spring showers mean rainbows and at the end of every rainbow is a leprechaun garden handmade from recycled items. Come have a fun afternoon of creating your own garden to place at the end of your own rainbow. All supplies will be provided. The photo is just an example and not representative of the actual craft that will be made.
