Last chance to register for our Winter Solstice Celebration!

Monday, Dec. 21 from 5-7 pm outside of the Recreation Activities Center, ages 3+, registration closes at midnight on 12/19

Celebrate the most magical and darkest night of the year and the slow return of the sun with WB Parks! Learn about some of the different solstice celebrations from around the world and explore our lantern lit trail. Oakland Astronomy Club will be guiding you through the night sky. Warm cocoa will be waiting for you at the end of the trail.

A take home craft kit will be provided. This event is entirely outside; dress accordingly. Masks will be required during the entirety of the event.

Following current health department guidelines, this is a single family experience. Each family will walk the trail on their own and encounter nature stations along the way.
