Sensing the Forest

Wednesday, August 19 from 10 am-12 pm, outside of the Recreation Activities Center, ages 3-5

Using their senses and a few simple tools to explore the beautiful forest, children will examine many kinds of plants and animals and, in the process, learn about their basic needs. They will meet one of our live animals and help feed it! Sight, sound and smell will help them investigate the natural world, from tiny mushrooms on a rotting log to birds singing from the treetops. There will be games, hike and a craft. All activities will be outside!

*Fee is per child. Adult supervision is required during the entire program.
