Park amenities start re-opening this week:
We continue to monitor the changing developments in regards to COVID-19 and the Governor’s Executive Orders. Social distancing practices are working. Please continue to enjoy our parks while following social distancing and group gathering guidelines and safeguards. Starting this week, we will begin re-opening some of the parks and amenities that were closed.
The following amenities will reopen Thursday, May 28th at 8 am:
- Park Restrooms
- FitTrac at Drake Sports Park
The following parks and amenities will reopen Saturday, May 30th at 8 am:
- Tennis Courts
- Pickleball Courts
- Skate Park
- Dog Park
Basketball courts, all playgrounds and shelters remain closed.
Shelter Rentals:
Rentals will not be permitted until gatherings of up to 100 are allowed by the State.
Maintenance Closures:
Marshbank Park will be closed until 11 am on Tuesdays and Drake Sports Park will be closed until 11 am on Thursdays so our staff can safely perform the needed maintenance for each park. This may change due to weather so check our homepage for updates before visiting during those timeframes.
