DIA LIVE

West Bloomfield selected to participate in new DIA pilot program this Thursday at 1 pm

 

The DIA is now LIVE online and you have been invited to be one of the first participants to help them pilot this experience. During this event you will learn about highlights in the DIA’s collection from a trained docent and you’ll be able to ask questions but you won’t be on screen. Participating is as easy as clicking the link provided below but to make sure you have the best experience possible here are some helpful tips!

The Basics: 

Before the event

  1. Ensure your browser supports Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Azure Media Player
  1. Make sure your browser allows third-party cookies.

Attend or watch a live event

  1. Select the live event link below.
  2. You'll see different instructions based on how you join the event (like from the Teams app or the web). Sign in or select Join anonymously.

If the live event hasn't started, you'll see the message "The live event has not yet started."

  1. There are controls at the bottom of your screen to pause the action, adjust volume and the video quality.

Participate in a live event

The Q&A panel only appears only if organizers have set it up. To ask a question:

  1. Select Q&A  on the right side of the screen.
  2. Type your question in the compose box, and then select Send. If you want to ask your question anonymously, select Ask anonymously.

You will be asked to complete a short survey following the program.

This week's "Live with Lauren" is a special Earth Day themed event! We will show you how our compost bin works, look for items in nature to use as paint brushes and introduce you to our eastern box turtle. Lauren will answer your questions throughout the broadcast.
