West Bloomfield Parks closes facilities and cancels programs through April 6

WEST BLOOMFIELD, March 12, 2020 — In order to minimize the potential exposure of our residents and staff to COVID-19, WB Parks will be canceling all programs and closing both the Recreation Activities Center and Connect, from 4:30 pm today, March 12th through 8:00 am, Monday, April 6th.  Between now and April 6th, WB Parks, in conjunction with local officials, will continue to closely monitor the situation and update residents as things evolve.

WHAT SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE

All parks will remain open to the public during this time. We will be continuing essential transportation services (doctor appointments and grocery store trips) through our Community Transit program. We will also accept online and phone registrations (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm) during the closure.

REFUNDS

Those who have registered for a program that is taking place between March 12 and April 5 will automatically receive a refund to your household account. Please call (248) 451-1900 with questions.  If we experience a high volume of calls, please be patient as voicemails will be returned in the order they are received.  Customer Service Representatives will also respond to social media messages and emails during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
