St. Patrick's Day Lunch
Friday, March 13 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Connect, ages 50+
West Bloomfield Parks will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day luncheon for area senior citizens. A traditional Irish meal will be served. Wear your green and join us for some fun entertainment and a tasty meal provided by the culinary staff of Notting Hill of West Bloomfield! Space is limited so reserve your spot early. Preregistration is required by March 6.

CPR Certification for Youth
Saturday, March 7 from 9 am - 2 pm at the Recreation Activities Center, ages 10-14
This class will focus on preparing youth to respond in emergency situations. This is a great class for youth with younger siblings and for those who babysit.
Topics covered include: injury prevention, emergency scenarios while babysitting and how to respond, how and when to call 911, child CPR and AED, infant CPR, how to help a choking infant or child and water and playground safety.
Upon successful completion of the class, students will be issued a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification card. American Heart Association Cards are valid for two years.

Summer shelter and facility rentals start March 2nd at 8 am!
West Bloomfield residents can reserve shelters and facilities starting March 2nd and nonresidents can reserve starting March 9th.
Looking to host a graduation party, family reunion or another event this summer? Shelter rentals are available Memorial Day through the end of September. Facility rentals have availability year-round but will be available for booking May-August on March 1st. We have videos of all our shelters and facilities available on our website as well as all of our procedures and rental fees. All of our parks and facilities are smoke free and alcohol free. We will accept walk-in customers prior to phone customers on the 2nd.
