Snowshoe With Your Sweetie

 

Enjoy a winter hike with your sweetie!

 

Sunday, February 9 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm, meet in the Nature Room, ages 18+

Take a guided snowshoe hike through the snow covered forest with your valentine. Listen to the crunch of snow and maybe even the hoot of owls, while you experience the magic of a winter walk. After exploring the forest with your sweetie, get cozy by the campfire and enjoy hot cocoa while cooking your lunch over the fire with gourmet ingredients. Snowshoes are provided. No snowshoe experience is needed. A hike will be substituted if there is not enough snow to use snowshoes. Fee is per person. Register early, this event sells out every year!

Nature Room

 

Come check out our newly re-opened Nature Room during Open Hours!

Our Nature Room is located inside the Recreation Activities Center. You can explore and enjoy hands-on activities, educational displays, read nature-themed story books and visit live animals. Seventy plus acres of natural land behind the building offer great nature trails to walk and explore. Snowshoes are also available to rent for $6/person. 

Our Naturalist will be on hand to answer your nature questions and help you make a craft. No registration required and best of all - IT’S FREE!

Come solo or with friends. Meet other Canasta loving people. Beginners and advanced players are welcome to play. Please register in the level you wish to compete in. Bring your cards and holders for playing fun. There will be prizes!

Wednesday, February 26 or Thursday, February 27 from 6:00-8:30 pm at Glen Oaks Country Club, suggested age 3+

DJ Dave spinning the hottest tunes, a gourmet buffet, an upscale venue and your special little girl; dads, what more could you want? Join us for our annual Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance at Glen Oaks Country Club!

A professional photographer will be on hand with packages starting at $20. We will have corsages available for pre-order at registration for $8 each. Must be ordered by 2/19.
