Register by Monday for the Mother & Son Dance!

 

Thursday, November 14 from 6-8:30 pm at Glen Oaks Country Club, all ages welcome

It's time to put on your bow-ties and beautiful dresses, ladies and gents, the Mother & Son Dance is here. Come with your favorite lady, whether it's your mom, grandmother, aunt or neighbor. You all will have a fancy evening at Glen Oaks Country Club, where you'll be greeted by an endless array of gourmet food, flashes from the camera as if you're a star, fun games and music that will make you dance all night long.

​A professional photographer will be on hand with packages starting at $20. Payment will be made directly to the photographer the night of the event.

The registration deadline is November 11th.

Free "Turkey Hike" for seniors

 

Thursday, November 14 from 4-5:30 pm at Marshbank Park, ages 50+

Hike Marshbank Park (meet at the Marshbank Lodge) and learn about turkeys and other animals that reside in the park. Distance: 1.03 miles, Hike Rating: Easy, Terrain: Unpaved & paved portions
Senior Hikes are led by our Park Naturalist, Lauren Azoury. Hiking Poles provided, while supplies last. Pre-registration required.

Colored Pencil Scribbling - New!

 

Thursdays, 11/21-12/19 from 10 am-12:30 pm at Schulak Farm 

Do you remember scribbling when you were a child? Then as you grew you were told to “stay in the lines”. This four week class will bring back the freedom and fun of finding that expressive line. In this workshop, you will find your individual mark and have fun coloring outside of the line.

This is a special edition of our monthly hiking series. Wear that Halloween costume one last time!

We invite you and your child to join our Naturalist on a nature discovery and exercise walk. We will meet in front of the Lodge at Marshbank Park and walk the paved trail. This is a FREE program, but pre-registration is required for all participants.
