Get in the Thanksgiving spirit at our
"Terrific Turkeys" program!
Thursday, November 15 from 6-7:30 pm in the Nature Room
Come learn about majestic turkeys, the sounds they make and about their unique traits! The turkey is a native bird to the Americas and can often been seen in our Parks. Participants will also go on 30 minute, turkey-themed game hike and make their own turkey centerpieces.

Calling all Wabelo Scouts!
Saturday, November 17 from 2-4 pm in the Nature Room
Webelo Scouts will be earning their Into the Wild Badge at this workshop. This workshop will include a nature hike, a tree themed activity, and LIVE animal experience. Into the Wild Badges are not included during the program. Scout leaders must obtain them from their local scout supplier.

Kindermusik classes start next week
Wednesdays 11/14-12/12 at the Recreation Activities Center, ages 0-4
Kindermusik's fun, developmentally specific and research-based music and movement classes are a joy for children and families. A trained, licensed teacher leads classes for families filled with singing, dancing, laughing, instrument playing and storytelling. The cost covers one child with caregiver and includes a music CD with access to online materials. There are three different classes broken up by age.  Family & Friends CPR
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do NOT need a certification card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
