Join us as we transform Drake Sports Park into a nerf battleground!

 

Friday, September 21 from 5:30-7 pm at Drake Sports Park, ages 6-10

Game on, it is time for one last nerf war before the cold weather hits. This friendly competition will rotate teams of 10-on-10 throughout the time frame. This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather. All nerf equipment and protective gear will be provided. Parents are not required to stay, but may watch the nerf war if they wish.

Horseback Riding

 

Horseback Riding & Campfire Lunch

 

Sunday, September 23 from 9:15 am-2:15 pm, ages 8+

Meet our Naturalist at the Recreation Activities Center; we then head to Brighton Riding Stables for an exciting and beautiful horseback ride! Enjoy a hayride to the campfire where lunch will be cooked. Are you a beginner rider? That’s okay, instruction is given before trotting on the trails. Approximately 1 hour will be spent on horseback. Transportation, food and fun are all provided.

September 22 from 10-11:15 am at the Recreation Activities Center, ages 6-10

This program integrates LEGO® with scientific and mathematical principles in a FUN and EXCITING way! Each lesson includes building, enhancing and playing with a custom, moving LEGO® model that demonstrates various concepts in the exciting world of physics. The Physics in Action class begins October 6.
