Kids Komotion Concerts kick off next Thursday!

 

Thursday, May 17 at Marshbank Park, inflatables open at 6, entertainment starts at 7

Pack a blanket and gather the children to join us on the concert hill at Marshbank Park for this year's offerings of free children's entertainment presented by Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Concerts run once a month, May through July.

We will have bouncers available one hour prior to the entertainment. Make sure to bring socks! The event features a free “Make & Take Instrument Station” for the first 250 kids. Our Naturalist will also have a fun-facts display for kids to visit.

The Optimist Club of West Bloomfield will be selling kid-friendly concession items at each concert. Kona Ice will also be at every concert.

Enjoy a special afternoon during our Mother & Daughter Tea  Party

 

Sunday, May 20 at Drake Sports Park, two timeslots available

Moms, collect your "little bug" and join us for a day filled with fun. You will explore the "world of ladybugs" with our Naturalist, complete a ladybug craft, enjoy light refreshments and tea and spend some special time with your love bugs! 

Dress in "your Sunday best" and spend an enjoyable afternoon relaxing with your daughter, mom and/or grandmother. 

​Pre-registration is required. This event is designed for ages 5 and up.

Cookin' at Crispelli's is back this Saturday!

 

Saturday, May 12 from 10-11 am,
ages 3-5

Crispellis' Bakery & Pizzeria is offering a comfortable and casual atmosphere for you and your child to cook your own customized personal pizza with help from their great chefs. You and your "mini me" will also learn how to prep and/or decorate a different premade baked good each month. This is a great time to bond, hang out and enjoy your creations together.

New! Parenting Workshop starts next Tuesday

Tuesdays, 5/15-6/26 from 6:30-8 pm at Brugmansia Counseling Group

This class will be dedicated to making parenting and teaching fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. We will provide practical tools and techniques that help you achieve respectful, healthy relationships with your children and help you prepare kids for the real world. This class is open to current and soon-to-be parents grandparents, or guardians of any age. No class on May 29th.
