West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation to host 5th annual Fall Fest on October 1st

Event features hayrides, live music, a petting farm and more.

West Bloomfield, September 8, 2016 — The West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission (WBPRC) will host its 5th annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 1st from noon – 4 pm at Marshbank Park.

The community event features a wide range of free, fall-themed activities including games, hayrides, live music, a petting farm, crafts, balloon animals and inflatables. Additional activities including face painting, a quad bungee jumper and horse or pony rides require a ticket purchase (cash only). Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from Kona Ice and Hunter House Hamburgers.  Live music will be provided by Miss Paula and the Candy Bandits.

“We’ve extended the event from three to four hours this year so families will have more time to enjoy all of the activities,” said Jennifer Tucker, executive director of the WBPRC. “Marshbank Park is really beautiful in the fall season and this event is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a day outdoors.”

Marshbank Park will close to the general public at 9 am in preparation for the event. The WBPRC does not allow dogs in the park during the event.
