West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation's Kids Komotion Concerts kick off June 23rd
Free concerts feature inflatables, interactive entertainment and food trucks
West Bloomfield, June 13, 2016 — The West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission (WBPRC)
will host its annual Kids Komotion Concert Series starting June 23rd
at Marshbank Park at 7 pm. Concerts are held once a month, June through August,
and feature inflatables provided by Oakland County Parks and Recreation and
food trucks.
"Kids Komotion Concerts offer a great opportunity to
get the family outdoors to spend time together,” said Jennifer Tucker,
executive director for WBPRC. “Previously a daytime series, we decided to
offer two evening concerts this year so more families are able to take advantage of the free events.”
This year, WBPRC along with presenting sponsor,
Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, welcomes two new performers and one
returning performer to the concert hill. The lineup is as follows:

June 23rd at 7 pm – Guy Louis,Chautauqua
Express

July 21st at 11 am – Deep fried Pickle Project

August 18th at 7 pm – Rick and Dayna
Inflatables will be available one hour before
evening concerts and 30 minutes before and after the daytime concert. WBPRC will
be handing out giveaways and raffle prizes to concert-goers as well.
The Kids Komotion Concerts will take place rain or
shine. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the performances for a chance to
meet the performers, play on the play structures and explore all of the park's amenities.
