Fall Certification/Reimbursement - Deadline, November 14, 2023
The 1st quarter payment date is scheduled for November 15, 2023. To be included in the 1st quarter payments, awards must be certified and reimbursements requested by the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on November 14, 2023. Only accepted requests that are submitted prior to the payment date will be included in the 1st quarter payments. Accepted requests that are processed after the 1st quarter payment date will be included in the 2nd quarter payment.
For institutions submitting requests via file upload, here are some helpful tips:
- Review the MiSSG File Formats.
- Do not delay! You will need time to review your upload results, which may require evaluating any errors and re-uploading your file.
You can review your errors by selecting, ‘The File has been processed but errors were found.’
- You may review the students who were successfully included in the payment request on the ‘Ready to Pay Roster.’
 The following State financial aid programs will be included in the 1st quarter payment:
- Children of Veterans Tuition Grant
- Fostering Futures Scholarship
- Futures for Frontliners
- Futures for Frontliners Path 2
- Michigan Achievement Scholarship
- Michigan Competitive Scholarship
- MI GEAR UP
- Michigan Reconnect Scholarship
- Michigan Tuition Grant
- Police Officer’s and Fire Fighter’s Survivor Tuition Grant
- Tuition Incentive Program
Payments for MI Future Educator Fellowship, and MI Future Educator Stipend are processed weekly. Payments for Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship will be processed separately. Additional details will be shared once the 1st quarter payment date has been determined.
