Get access to valuable student level data at your school by completing a MiSSG Data Use Agreement (DUA). In MiSSG, authorized users can view student records including: FAFSA completion data, Michigan Achievement Scholarship qualifier lists, and Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) eligibility rosters. To access the 2023-24 DUA, visit the High School Counselor MiSSG Portal.
As a reminder, all Data Use Agreements must be:
- Completed electronically and annually (please type as handwritten information will cause processing delays).
- Submitted via email to mistudentaid@michigan.gov by the authorizing principal/superintendent.
The MiSSG High School Counselors Portal will reopen in early September. Ensure you are prepared this school year and submit your 2023-24 DUA now!

Based on questions received, we have added further clarification in the Frequently Asked Questions for Michigan Achievement Scholarship eligibility:
Does the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) have to be completed and verified if required? What if a student possesses a Certificate of Completion?
Answer:
To be eligible for Michigan Achievement Scholarship, the FAFSA must be completed and verified if required. Subsequent Institutional Student Information Records (ISIR) will be loaded into MiSSG. Students possessing a Certificate of Completion must have a submitted FAFSA with a calculated Expected Family Contribution and all other verification excluding high school completion must be complete and verified.
