Status Update
The Michigan Achievement Scholarship and Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship testing is in progress and on track to meet our target implementation date into the MiSSG Production environment on July 14, 2023*.
- *Date may be subject to change during the testing phase and will be communicated if necessary.
Additional program updates will be shared after the budget is signed by the Governor.
What to Expect During Go Live?
School Users who have been authorized to receive access to Michigan Achievement Scholarship via the 2023-24 MiSSG College Security Access Form will:
- See enhancements to the Information Roster for Michigan Achievement Scholarship; expanding eligible and ineligible student data and updates to the Certification Roster within the 'Rosters' section of 'Reports.'
- Have the ability to search and update student records.
- Be able to 'Clear Ineligible Reasons.'
Next Steps
- Our MiSSG Systems Team will continue testing eligibility, cross program eligibility, record updates, payments, adjustments, and report features.
- Correspondence will continue between SSGO and the vendor to resolve and clear the issue log.
- SSGO will continue to communicate weekly with institutions on the status of the testing.
What Can You Do Now?
- Submit the 2023-24 MiSSG College Security Access Form to ensure your access to Michigan Achievement Scholarship has been authorized and updated.
- Review your EFC <= 25000 Report to identify 2023 high school graduates who meet the EFC requirement.
