It's Not Too Late to Complete the FAFSA

As you know, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step students take to unlock financial support such as grants, scholarships, work study jobs, and student loans to help pay for college. So, the MI Student Aid team is reaching out to provide resources to help ensure that no senior misses out on money to help them pay for college!

2023-24 FAFSA Priority Deadline

FAFSA Submissions received at the Federal processor on or before May 1 are given priority consideration for the Michigan Competitive Scholarship and Michigan Tuition Grant. 

Note: There is NO FAFSA priority deadline for all other State of Michigan scholarship and grant programs, including the Michigan Achievement Scholarship.

Don’t forget to check your FAFSA completion data in the MiSSG High School Counselor Portal to identify students at your school who have not completed a FAFSA yet!

FAFSA Support
