Update - Fall Certification/Reimbursement - Deadline Approaching

Fall Certification/Reimbursement - Deadline, November 15, 2022

The 1^st quarter payment date is scheduled for November 16, 2022. To be included in the 1^st quarter payments, awards must be certified and reimbursements requested by the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on November 15, 2022. Only accepted requests that are submitted prior to the payment date will be included in the 1^st quarter payments. Accepted requests that are processed after the 1^st quarter payment date will be included in the 2^nd quarter payment.

For institutions submitting requests via file upload, here are some helpful tips:

• Review the MiSSG File Formats.
• Do not delay! You will need time to review your upload results, which may require evaluating any errors and re-uploading your file.

You can review your errors by selecting, ‘The File has been processed but errors were found.’

• You may review the students who were successfully included in the payment request on the ‘Ready to Pay Roster.’

The following State financial aid programs will be included in the 1^st quarter payment:

• Children of Veterans Tuition Grant
• Fostering Futures Scholarship
• Futures for Frontliners
• Michigan Competitive Scholarship
• Michigan Tuition Grant
• Police Officer’s and Fire Fighter’s Survivor Tuition Grant
• Michigan Reconnect
• Tuition Incentive Program

Payments for Futures for Frontliners Path 2, MI Future Educator Fellowship, and MI Future Educator Stipend will be processed separately. Additional details will be shared as the development continues for these programs.
