Treasury routinely hosts free educational seminars throughout Michigan connecting businesses, tax service providers, and other stakeholders with Treasury representatives. These seminars provide an opportunity to learn about Treasury updates as well as important tax processing and tax compliance topics. Our ongoing goal through this outreach is to enhance communication, foster a culture of taxpayer service, and develop continuous improvement by working together.

Navigating Your New Business Seminar
Michigan Treasury partners with Michigan's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Unemployment Insurance Agency to provide licensing, registration, and taxation training for businesses. This seminar is ideal for businesses just getting started, growing, or seeking to gain an understanding of general compliance standards. This all-day seminar is divided into four sessions - attend all for a comprehensive picture or attend the individual sessions you need.

Michigan Treasury Online (MTO) Webinar
MTO is an online resource for business taxpayers. You can use MTO to file tax returns, pay tax amounts due, and maintain Treasury registration information. This webinar covers MTO functionality and features a live demonstration of MTO web services. Upon registering, you will receive an optional questionnaire; the responses will be used to develop webinar content.
