MTO Outage Scheduled August 29th through September 4th

Due to a system upgrade, Michigan Treasury Online (MTO) will be unavailable to all users from 5:00pm EDT on August 29, 2018 through 8:00am EDT on September 4, 2018. During this outage, ESA taxpayers will be unable to review, amend, or submit ESA statements or returns through MTO or make electronic payment of ESA liability and late payment penalty through Pay Connexion.

This outage occurs after the August 15th deadline to certify ESA statements and electronically pay ESA liability in full. ESA taxpayers and preparers are reminded that payments made after August 15th incur a late payment penalty of 1% of outstanding liability per week to a maximum of 5%. The calculation of this late payment penalty will not be affected by this outage.  Late payment penalty will increase to 3% of outstanding ESA liability on August 30th and 4% on September 6th.
