Local Government Filing Deadline - Audit, F65, Retirement Form 5572

The Michigan Department of Treasury would like to provide a clarification for local units with a fiscal year ending September 30, 2017. Because the six-month deadline for filing local governmental unit reports falls on Saturday, March 31^st, reports such as the audit report, Annual Local Unit Fiscal Report (F65 Report), and the Retirement System Annual Report (form 5572), are not due until Monday, April 2^nd, 2018.
