
Secretary Johnson, Meijer announce partnership to provide more access to SOS services
Self-service stations allow customers to pick up groceries, vehicle tabs
WHO: Secretary of State Ruth Johnson Mark Murray, Meijer Co-Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman
WHAT: News conference to announce a pilot project adding two Secretary of State self-service stations to Meijer stores in Grand Rapids and Lincoln Park.
WHEN: 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24
WHERE: Meijer, 1540 28th St. SE, Grand Rapids
WHY: Secretary Johnson and Meijer are committed to providing convenience and excellent customer service. The ATM-style machines give customers the option of renewing their vehicle tabs without traveling to an SOS branch office while visiting the two participating Meijer stores.
Editor’s Note: Media should make arrangements with Christina Fecher, Meijer, to attend the Grand Rapids event. Southeast Michigan media may make arrangements with Meijer to shoot b-roll or photos of the self-service station at the Lincoln Park Meijer at 3710 Dix Hwy, Lincoln Park.
