Board of State Canvassers
to meet Thursday, April 26
The Board of State Canvassers will meet at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 26 in room 424 of the state Capitol in Lansing.
Included on the agenda will be:
- Consideration of meeting minutes for approval.
- Consideration of the initiative petition filed by the Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol, 2570 Champlain St., NWE, Suite 12, Washington, D.C. 20009.
- The staff report is available online.
- Consideration of the initiative petition filed by Protecting Michigan Taxpayers, 2145 Commons Parkway, Okemos, MI 48864.
- The staff report is available online.
- Such other and further business as may be properly presented to the Board.
Attending and speaking at a Board of State Canvassers meeting
A person may address the board on any agenda item at the end of the meeting. A person who wishes to address the board on an agenda item at the time the item is being discussed must submit a written request to the chairperson of the board prior to the opening of the meeting. People addressing the board are allotted three minutes.
