The Secretary of State Livonia Area SUPER!Center will close for one day on
March 19 for a quick remodel project but customers can hop online to ExpressSOS.com instead, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson
said.
The office at 17176 Farmington Road will not open on Monday, March 19,
and will resume normal service at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20.
New data communications equipment
will be installed at the Livonia office to speed transactions and additional
work stations will be added to the counter line. A second Self-Service Station
for tab renewals will also be installed in the vestibule of the office as part
of the project. Neither kiosk will be available during the closure.
“This project is part of our
commitment to improving service and the experience of customers who visit an
office,” Johnson said. “Area residents now can hop online to do many
transactions with us at ExpressSOS.com,
but when they do visit, we want them to have the best experience possible.”
