Here's what happened today regarding the statewide recount for the Nov. 8 presidential election:
- The Board of State Canvassers voted 3-1 to halt the recount if U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith lifts his order.
- The Board of State Canvassers is scheduled to meet at
9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, in room 426 of the Capitol in Lansing.

Fourteen additional counties began their recounts today, in addition to the two that began on Monday and six on Tuesday.
