 Fireside Chat- Addison Oaks History
Join us on Zoom as Oakland County Parks and Recreation Historian Carol Bacak-Egbo will discuss the history of Addison Oaks County Park during Fireside Chat – Dashing Through the Past at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14.
This park dates back more than 100 years and includes the fascinating history of the Buhl Estate, a distinctive English Tudor-style manor home surrounded by a formal flower garden. Learn more about the Buhl family, their property and their legacy during this free virtual event.
This program is limited to 300 participants on Zoom. The chat will be moderated by Oakland County Parks and Recreation staff. Those interested can click on the Zoom link in the Fireside Chat flyer to join the fun.
Join Gerry Bouchard as he offers a Introductory Course on Wood Carving. This is a 3 part series. Part 1 is 4 Zoom meetings. Each Zoom class is 30 minute of instruction and 1 hour carving time.
