Registration is going on now for our FUN-N-SUN SUMMER CAMP

Do you need someone to watch the kids this summer?  Then let the Oxford Township Parks & Recreation Team entertain & supervise you child.  Fun-N-Sun counselors are trained and experienced staff in constant contact with the children.  Campers will enjoy a daily camp theme and will have opportunities to enjoy arts & crafts, sports, open gym and more each & everyday. This summer our Fun-N-Sun camp has scheduled the following field trips & extra activities:

• 6/26- Waterford Oaks Waterpark
• 7/9- DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts), Detroit
• 7/24- Brick it Up at Camp
• 8/8- Tye Dye Day at Camp
• 8/9- Longway Planetarium, Flint

Don’t miss this summer adventure to Put In Bay. Trip includes deluxe motorcoach, round trip ferry, narrated island tour including points of interest aboard the island train, choice of the Butterfly House, a 4,000 square foot Avery that houses over 500 types of exotic butterflies or Perry’s Cave; which lies 52 feet below the surface of South Bass Lake in Lake Erie to view stalactites, stalagmites and cave pearls. You will receive a lunch voucher valid at Pasquales, Boardwalk, Chicken Patio, Hooligans, Mossbacks or the Keys. Includes a visit to Perry’s International Peace Memorial monument and a visit to the Put In Bay Winery at the Dollar House Tour historic estate. Note: There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour.

How well does your child know the basics of safety? This program introduces kids to the correct use of community safety services through interaction. Real life situations will be simulated in a setting geared for children, Involvement from our local police, fire and other safety personnel stress the importance of following the rules to insure the participant's safety.

Topics include: Police, Bicycle, Bus and Fire safety. Participants will receive a program T-shirt, daily snack and will be a part of the Safety Town graduation. Daily schedule will be provided prior to camp. Register early, space is limited!
