My Snowman and Me Contest is open to children ages 12 & under. When the snow starts flying grab your winter gear and a camera! We're looking for the best 'Snowman and Me' picture to appear on the cover of our next Winter Brochure. Photos must be received by April 12, 2019. Remember to include your name, phone number, and address in the email. Email your picture in portrait, not landscape to laurensmith@oxparkrec.org. One photo per family please.Once all entries are collected stop by the Parks & Recreation to vote for the winner. Pictures posted by May 1. Voting ends June 1, 2019.

YOUTH ATHLETICS
 Wildcat Girls Basketball Clinic
Join the Oxford High School girl's basketball coach, Rachel Bryer, her coaching staff and players for this exciting program. Participants will have an opportunity to improve their fundamental basketball skills through drills in this three day clinic. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Clinic held at Oxford High School West Gym on the Sunday, January 13th, 20th, & 27th from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Cost is $60 (Oxford residents subtract $10).
Wildcat Girls Volleyball Camp
Volleyball camp for girls grades 2-6. Over the course of six weeks, girls will learn the basics of volleyball in a safe and recreational setting. Emphasis will be placed on teamwork and the benefits of playing the sport of volleyball. Participants will be able to play games as well as partake in fun skill competitions. This program will be a blast for your child. Each camper will receive a program t-shirt. Camp held at Oxford Elementary School on Mondays, Jan. 7th - Feb. 25th. Cost is $60 (Oxford residents subtract $10).
Youth Golf Clinic
The professionals from TGA Premier Junior Golf will teach the swing fundamentals, putting, rules, etiquette and life values in a safe, nurturing environment. All equipment is provided. Classes held at Clear Lake on Tuesdays starting January 15th @ 4:10pm-5:10pm and Daniel Axford on Wednesdays starting January 16th @ 4:00pm-5:00pm and Leonard Elementary January 17th @ 4:10pm-5:10pm. Cost is $119 (Oxford residents subtract $10).
Wildcat Baseball Clinic
Join Dave Herrick and the Oxford Baseball staff for this new clinic. Campers will learn all aspects of the game, including defensive play, hitting, base running, and pitching from our coaching staff and players. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. The clinic will be held at Oxford Middle School January 2-4, 2019 from 9:00am-10:30am Grades 1-3 and 10:30am-Noon Grades 4-6.
Equipment Needed:
Campers are responsible for bringing bats, gloves, helmets and any additional equipment that is needed.
DADDY DAUGHTER &
MOTHER SON DANCES
You and your special date are cordially invited to enjoy a night out of dancing, music, refreshments and a complementary photo to capture this special evening. This year's dance will be a formal theme. Guests may wish to wear a dress and their special date a jacket and tie.
Our Daddy Daughter & Mother Son Dances will be held at Devil's Ridge Golf Course- 3700 Metamora Road, Oxford. Cost per person is $12 (Oxford residents subtract $2). Pictures start at 6:30pm & Dance 7:00pm-8:30pm. Open to participants in Grades K-6 & Guest.
Event dates for Daddy Daughter Dances are Friday, February 22nd & Saturday, February 23rd. Mother Son Dance is Saturday, March 2nd.

EASTER BUNNY BONANZA &
FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT
 Join the Oxford Township Parks & Recreation staff in welcoming the Easter Bunny with an egg hunt and a ping-pong ball drop. The event will begin with a Easter Egg Hunt followed by the Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The bunny chopper will fly over and shower the kids with thousands of white ping-pong balls. Each child will receive a special gift! Event to be held at Seymour Lake Township Park on Saturday, April 20th at 1:00pm sharp for children ages 2-9. Cost is $10 (Oxford residents subtract $2).

An Egg Hunt with a twist- you'll need your flashlights to hunt in the dark! Don't forget to check your batteries and bring a basket to collect your eggs. Turn eggs in for prizes-find the special egg to win the grand prize! Event to be held at Powell Lake Township Park on Thursday, April 18th at 8:30pm sharp for teens ages 10-17. Cost is $10 (Oxford residents subtract $2).
