OAKWOOD LAKE TOWNSHIP PARK
|
This 300 acre park will soon feature a 18 hole Disc Golf course. The Parks and Recreation staff are grooming the trails to incorporate the course throughout the park and preserve many of the natural beautiful attributes and wildlife.
The Oakwood Lake Township Park 18 hole Disc Golf course will differ drastically from the current course at Seymour Lake Township Park. This new course will be a more technical and challenging course compared to
Seymour. It will require a variety of shot placements to obtain a low score.
Average hole length will be between 250-300 feet with tight fairways and
unforgiving roughs. Oakwood will also be home to one of the very few hanging
baskets in all of Michigan. This basket, along with other unique basket placements,
will give players something to encourage them to keep returning to play.
