Ottawa County and the Holland Area Arts Council are pleased to announce the winning entries for the 2026 Ottawa County Art Trust exhibition during a reception and awards ceremony at the Ottawa County Administration Building this week. The County will purchase the awarded pieces for its permanent art collection:

Heather Persch, Ottawa Blues – Acrylic

Nancy Sackrison, Beach Music – Pastel

Elizabeth Van Ark, Memory Branches – Ceramic (wood fire)
Jami Mika, a ceramist and designer, served as juror for this year's show, offering her discerning eye and thoughtful expertise to the difficult task of selecting this year's winners from a field of 113 entries by 64 artists.
New this year, Ottawa County employees will vote on additional work to be added to the collection. The work selected by the organization will be announced later this summer.
The exhibit will remain on display at the Ottawa County Administration Building weekdays from 8AM to 5PM until September 3. Pieces not selected for the County’s collection are available for purchase.
The Ottawa County Art Trust is a celebration of local culture and creativity. Established in 2018, the Art Trust exhibition is held annually to preserve and share a legacy of visual art with future generations. To date, the collection includes 92 pieces from 61 artists. These works enrich the halls, conference rooms, and public spaces throughout County facilities.
