This email update contains current and planned road closures, and construction projects overseen or managed by the Ottawa County Road Commission for the upcoming week.

Road Closure: 152nd Ave., Ferris St. to Groesbeck St., Grand Haven Twp., begins Aug. 11

152nd Ave Culvert Road Closure Detour Map

DURATION: Aug. 11-15, 2025

WHERE: 152nd Ave., Ferris St. to Groesbeck St., Grand Haven Twp.

WHY: Culvert Replacement

BACKGROUND: On Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, the Ottawa County Road Commission will close 152nd Ave. between Ferris St. and Groesbeck St. in Grand Haven Twp. for a culvert replacement project.

This project is estimated to be completed by Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: The road will be closed to through traffic. A detour route will consist of Lincoln St./144th Ave./Mercury Dr./Groesbeck St.


Road Closure: 96th Ave., Quincy St. to Ransom St., Holland/Zeeland Twps., begins Aug. 11

DURATION: Aug. 11-22, 2025

WHERE: 96th Ave., Quincy St. to Ransom St., Holland/Zeeland Twps.

WHY: Culvert Replacement

BACKGROUND: On Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission will close 96th Ave. between Quincy St. and Ransom St. in Holland/Zeeland Twps. for a culvert replacement project.

This project is estimated to be completed by Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: The road will be closed to through traffic. A detour route will consist of Quincy St./88th Ave./Ransom St.


Road Closure: 8th Ave., Perry St. to Adams St., Jamestown Twp., begins Aug. 11

DURATION: Aug. 11-14, 2025

WHERE: 8th Ave., Perry St. to Adams St., Jamestown Twp.

WHY: Culvert Replacement

BACKGROUND: On Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, the Ottawa County Road Commission will close 8th Ave. once again between Adams St. and Perry St. in Jamestown Twp. for a culvert replacement project.

This project is estimated to be completed by Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: The road will be closed to through traffic. A detour route will consist of Adams St./24th Ave./Perry St.


Road Closure: Garfield St., West of 24th Ave., Wright Twp., begins Aug. 11

DURATION: Aug. 11-12, 2025

WHERE: Garfield St., West of 24th Ave., Wright Twp.

WHY: Culvert Replacement

BACKGROUND: On Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, the Ottawa County Road Commission will close Garfield St. west of 24th Ave. in Wright Twp. for a culvert replacement project.

This project is estimated to be completed by Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: As this is a dead-end road, one lane of traffic will be open at all times.
