Bridge replacement project to begin on 32nd Ave. north of Truman St. in Chester Twp. beginning April 28

WHAT: Bridge Replacement

WHEN: April 28-July 31, 2025

WHERE: 32nd Ave. north of Truman St., Chester Twp.

BACKGROUND: 32nd Ave. between Truman St. and Sherman St. in Chester Twp. is expected to close beginning the week of April 28, 2025, until late July 2025 for a bridge replacement project.

During the project the road will be closed to traffic. Work will take place in many stages and will take some time to complete. Inclement weather may also be a factor contributing to the project completion timeline.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: 32nd Ave. will be closed to through traffic between Truman St. and Sherman St. The detour route will consist of Truman St. to 36th Ave. to Sherman St.
