Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for September 2023

Preliminary unemployment rates for September 2023 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County’s September unemployment rate is 3.2%. This rate is the fifth lowest in the state of Michigan. September rates in Michigan range from 2.9% in Livingston County to 6.3% in Oscoda County.

Michigan counties largely saw their unemployment rates decrease in September, with 78 counties seeing a decline. Across the year, 54 counties have seen a fall in their unemployment rate.
