Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for July 2023

Preliminary unemployment rates for July 2023 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County’s July unemployment rate is 3.6%—the sixth lowest in the state of Michigan. Rates for July range from 2.8% in Livingston County to 7.5% in Oscoda County.

Fourteen Michigan counties saw no change in their unemployment rates from June to July. While fifty-one counties saw their rates increase, and eighteen counties saw their rates decrease.
