Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for March 2023

Ottawa County’s preliminary unemployment rates for March 2023 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County’s unemployment rate for March measured 3.4%, which is a slight decrease from February’s rate of 3.5%. This rate is the sixth-lowest in Michigan for March, with unemployment rates ranging from 2.2% in Livingston County to 21.6% in Mackinac County.

Across Michigan, 12 counties saw their unemployment rates remain unchanged from February to March. Seven counties saw their rates increase. The remaining 64 counties saw a decrease.
