Ottawa County Preliminary Unemployment Rate for February 2022

The preliminary unemployment rates for February 2022 were released recently by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Since January, Ottawa County's unemployment rate has remained at 3.4%. This unemployment rate is currently the lowest unemployment rate in Michigan, with rates ranging from 3.4% here in Ottawa County to 18.1% in Mackinac County. "Most of Michigan’s regional labor markets displayed only minor shifts in unemployment in February" said Wayne Rourke, associate director of the Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives.
