Ottawa County Preliminary Unemployment Rate for October 2021

The preliminary unemployment rates for October 2021 were released recently by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Since September, Ottawa County's unemployment rate has decreased from 4.1% to 3.5%. This is currently the fourth-lowest unemployment rate in Michigan, with rates ranging from 2.8% in Livingston County to 7.9% in Roscommon County.
Please note that the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics has made an upward revision to the unemployment rate for all Michigan regions and counties for September 2021. See the technical note in this press release for more information.
