Ottawa County Preliminary Unemployment Rate for August 2021

The preliminary unemployment rates for August 2021 were released recently by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Since July, Ottawa County's unemployment rate has decreased from 4.1% to 3.4%. This is currently the fifth-lowest unemployment rate in Michigan, with rates ranging from 2.4% in Livingston County to 8.2% in Genesee County.

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners meets the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at 1:30PM. The public is welcome and encouraged to participate. Meetings are held in the Board Room located at 12220 Fillmore Street, West Olive, Michigan.
