Did you know that Ottawa County Parks & Recreation offers special senior programs for active adults 55+ years?

This season, we are introducing one-hour, themed walks at a variety of Ottawa County Parks. These walks will take a deeper dive into a topic of interest that may focus on natural features of a park, tell the story of cultural connections to place or weave both elements together.

Walks will last about an hour, take place in parks with more accessible trails, and provide an opportunity to connect with others who share a similar interest! There is no cost and registration is not required.

If you are interested in getting updated flyers to post or promote programs throughout the year, please call the Nature Center at 616-786-4847 and asked to be put on the Senior Program Specials emailing list, or click here to subscribe to emails about programming for seniors.
