Virtual Webinar - Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE)
Ottawa County, Michigan sent this bulletin at 07/19/2021 02:14 PM EDTAre you a commercial or rental property owner or developer discouraged by the high upfront costs of energy-efficient improvements? Do you wish there was a low-cost way to finance these improvements? Join Lean & Green Michigan for a virtual webinar at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 28 discussing Ottawa County's Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program.
PACE is a unique form of financing available to commercial property owners to receive upfront financing to pay for building improvements that will help them save money on their utility bills.
The PACE program is structured as a public-private partnership in which local governments opt into creating a PACE district for the benefit of their commercial property owners. By creating a PACE district, commercial property owners operating within that district have the ability to receive private capital to pay for their PACE projects.
PACE is a free (no use of taxpayer dollars) economic development tool that allows commercial property owners to realize the financial benefits of energy efficiency. The webinar will be hosted by Lean & Green Michigan, which serves as the third-party administrator of the Ottawa County PACE program.
This informational virtual webinar will be especially beneficial for commercial property owners, economic and real estate developers, energy contractors, and local government officials operating in Ottawa County.
