Road Closures: CSX planning railroad grade crossing repairs in Georgetown Twp., Hudsonville

CSX planning several crossing closures in Georgetown Twp., Hudsonville

The Ottawa County Road Commission has been notified that CSX Railroad is scheduled to reconstruct their railroad grade crossings at the following locations and dates:

Cottonwood Drive north of M-121 (Georgetown Township) – 7/6/21
12th Avenue north of M-121 (Georgetown Township) – 7/7/21
School Avenue north of M-121 (City of Hudsonville) – 7/7/21
40th Avenue north of M-121 (City of Hudsonville) – 7/8/21

The above locations will be completely closed off to traffic at the crossing starting on the listed dates and are expected to each be closed for up to four days.

Signed detours will be provided for all closures.

The Ottawa County Road Commission manages the roads. The Ottawa County Road Commission is funded by fuel taxes, vehicle registrations and millage dedicated to the Ottawa County roads.
