COVID-19 is on most people's minds right now but did you know there are other illnesses that foodservice employees must report to their employers? These are called the Big 6 Illnesses. They are important to report because they are contagious and spread through food. If an employee is diagnosed, the employee, manager, medical provider, and health department all work together to ensure the employee doesn't go back to work until it is safe to do so.
