40th Ave. reconstruction begins Monday, Aug. 3, in Jamestown Twp.

WHAT: Gravel Road Reconstruction

WHERE: 40th Ave.

TOWNSHIP: Jamestown

START DATE: Monday, August 3, 2020

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, October 2, 2020

PROJECT DETAILS: The Ottawa County Road Commission, in conjunction with Jamestown Township, will be reconstructing 40th Avenue from the county line to Adams Street. The existing gravel road will be reconstructed to a paved road.

The project is expected to begin on Monday, August 3, and be completed by Friday, Oct. 2. Note that all dates are tentative, and work is weather-dependent.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: 40th Avenue will be closed to through traffic between the county line and Adams Street during this project, with access being maintained for those living within the construction limits.

28th Ave. to close from Baldwin St. to Bauer Rd. in Georgetown Twp. Aug 3-14

WHAT: Road Closure

WHERE: 28th Ave., Baldwin St. to Bauer Rd.

TOWNSHIP: Georgetown

START DATE: Monday, August 3, 2020

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, August 14, 2020

PROJECT DETAILS: 28th Avenue in Georgetown Township will be closed between Baldwin Street and Bauer Road Aug. 3-14 for permitted water crossing work.

Note that all dates are tentative, and work is weather-dependent.
