Recycling Service Center & Sharps Disposal Updates

This is just a friendly reminder that our Georgetown Resource Recovery Service Center is closed on July 4, 2020 for the holiday. The next Saturday they will be open is Saturday, August 1st.
Additionally, due to the pandemic, there is a temporary change in the sharps disposal and exchange program:
- Hudsonville Department of Public Health (3100 Port Sheldon) and Grand Haven Department of Public Health (1207 S Beechtree Street, Suite B) are temporarily closed. They are not taking sharps for disposal and exchange at this time. Please note, the chiropractic clinic at 1207 S Beechtree Street in Grand Haven cannot take sharps containers as they are not part of the Department of Public Health.

TWO locations are currently taking sharps containers for proper disposal and exchange:
- Holland Department of Public Health - 12251 James Street in Holland. Open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Closed July 3 for the holiday.
- Grand Haven Resource Recovery Center is temporarily taking sharps containers and providing new containers. They are located at 16850 Comstock in Grand Haven. Open Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm and the fourth Saturday of the month from 8am to 11am.
