Road Closure: Luce/Linden St., Tallmadge Twp.

WHEN: Beginning Monday, May 18, 2020

WHERE: Luce/Linden St. between M-45 and 26th Ave. in Tallmadge Township

WHY: Bank erosion repair

BACKGROUND: On Monday, May 18, 2020, the Ottawa County Road Commission closed Luce/Linden St. in Tallmadge Township between M-45 to 20th Ave. for bank erosion repairs.

We anticipate that this work will last 2-3 weeks, however, all dates are tentative and subject to change. Be sure to check http://www.ottawacorc.com/road-work/road-closures/ for the latest updates.

DETOUR: The posted detour route for this closure is M45/14th Avenue/Lovers Lane/20th Ave.

Note: Resurfacing does not close the road. It will remain open to through traffic, with temporary lane closures.

Who manages the roads and how are they funded?
The Ottawa County Road Commission manages the roads. The Ottawa County Road Commission is funded by fuel taxes, vehicle registrations and millage dedicated to the Ottawa County roads. Other property taxes you pay to Ottawa County do not fund road repairs or snow removal. Concerns about roads should be directed to the Ottawa County Road Commission. Questions?
