Environmental Health

Please call in advance for drop-in services such as Sharps container exchange. Apply online or over the phone for all other services.

  • Field Services: All services continue, with the exception of in-home assessments. All septic and well permits are still being processed, as are all Real Estate Transfer Evaluations. This allows all parties involved to move forward in the building or sale of a home.
  • Food Services: Food safety related routine inspections, complaint investigations, illness surveillance, plan review, and licensing activities are continuing. In addition to these activities, the focus has shifted to include Coronavirus safety procedures with our establishments. Inspectors are reaching out directly with owners and operators to discuss any questions or clarification regarding Executive Order No. 2020-9.  Other program areas, such as routine body art (tattoo/piercing) inspections, are postponed until further notice.
  • Sustainability: Sustainability sites are continuing to accept hazardous material and encouraging customers to remain in their cars during their visit.
