Ottawa County, Michigan Community Mental Health News - The Lakeshore Link MDHHS Behavioral Health Public Forums in January and February

In December 2019, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced a new plan for the future of behavioral health in Michigan that integrates specialty behavioral health and physical health services.  To learn more about the announcement visit http://www.michigan.gov/FutureofBehavioralHealth.  

MDHHS will be hosting a series of public forums in early 2020 to hear feedback on this vision for the behavioral health system in Michigan.  The purpose of these forums is to provide individuals and families served  by the specialty behavioral health system a chance to ask questions and provide feedback to the proposal.  

MDHHS will host five forums, including four in-person events and one virtual forum.  All events will be hosted from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.  Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged to help MDHHS best prepare for the events.  You can find the links to register for each event below:
