The Step It Up! Fitness Challenge begins next week!

Group Walks - important info and schedule
New this year:
1) Strength training
Before each group walk in Ottawa County, there will be a 15 minute strength session. This is meant for all levels of fitness. It is optional. There is no need to RSVP, just be sure to be there at the time listed for Strength Training.
2) RSVP for Group Walks! Links to RSVP via Eventbrite
We are now requesting that participants sign up and let us know they're coming to group walks so that we are able to adequately prepare staff, volunteers, and snacks. If you can't make it, there is an option to cancel using the same link. Walks will begin promptly at the start time listed.

Volunteers
We are always looking for Group Walk volunteers. If you are interested in being a Group Walk volunteer, sign up here. Volunteers are paired up with Naturalists Guides and bring up the rear of the group to make sure no one is left behind. That usually means a slower walk for you, but your help is greatly appreciated. If you sign up to be a volunteer, you do NOT have to also RSVP for the walk.

• Families and kids are welcome! Stroller-friendly trails available.
• Dogs welcome on-leash
• Maps of the route will be available at the walk
Group Activities
You must register for Group Activities. Space is limited, so please only register for the activities you are available for.

Creating a Bookmark/Button on your mobile device
If you own a smartphone you may find it more convenient to add a bookmark to your phone to record your steps!
The bookmark will appear on your mobile device like an app and will bring you directly to the Step It Up page on the miottawa.org website.
