Food for Thought

Drink pasteurized milk to help keep your family safe!

Pasteurized milk is heat-treated to kill bacteria and make the milk safe to drink. Unpasteurized milk may contain germs such as Brucella, Campylobacter, E. coli, Listeria and Salmonella. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, cramping and fever. These illnesses can also lead to more severe symptoms such as paralysis, kidney failure and death. Children younger than five, older adults and people with compromised immune systems are especially at risk. LEARN MORE
